An excellent cat safe ant killer is cucumber or lemon. Leave lemon and cucumber peels near entry points for the ants in your homes and they will disappear soon. A solution of salt and pepper with water can be sprayed on ants and this will kill them instantly. However, this remedy will not help demolish the nest. Another cat safe ant killer is grits.  When an ant ingests grits and drinks water over it, the grits will absorb the water, swell and rupture the stomach of the ant. Grits can be powdered and doused with honey so that ingestion is made easier for the ant. When it comes to getting rid of ants, the best cat safe ant killer is simple boiling water. For this method to work, you must be able to locate the ant hill or the colony of the ants in your garden or somewhere outside your home. Once this is located, pouring boiling water over the colonies repeatedly for a few days will ensure complete eradication. A method like this is safe because everything is done outside the house.
